This would be the time when everyone could go on their favourite forum or blog and start threads "Informing" people that theRPGsite is now back up, and talking about how cool we are over here.

I just stuck my neck out over on Big Purple and started a thread to that effect.

Its in the Tabletop Roleplaying Open section. Be interesting to see what happens.

So, I started a NEW thread in Role-playing open....go to the other part of the house to have lunch and leave my keyboard & monitor for awhile. I come back - and I can't find the thread.

 AH!! They (Nina??) moved it to Ads /Promo...along with a mildly snarky comment.

To be fair, that thread kinda WAS advertising. If you're gonna talk about this site, it's best to have a thread with a more specific point. But yeah, one or more of the mods are undoubtably lurking here.

Seems like the right forum for it, to be honest.

There's really little need to pimp this place. We regularly have 2-3 times as many guests viewing as we have members, so people know about it. Some guests are here just to see the latest car-crash and to see what posters are posting here (just out of curiosity, you understand ;) ), some to get a bit of gossip that maybe doesn't crop up elsewhere and some poor souls who are too timid to take the plunge and join. :shrug:

It's not 100%. The front page is working, but I'm waiting for the server guys to change a setting to get all the menu tabs at the work to start working again.

Yet spam sits idle for half a day and threads about ENWorld and Exalted wikis (other sites) sit there permanently?
