A user on the SJG forums was just permabanned after something like 11 posts.
No official reason was given, in keeping with the usual arrogance at SJG, unlike the arrogance at rpg.net which at least requires them to make up some sort of bullshit excuse. (HEy, texas' arrogance is bigger than anyones...)
But looking over what few posts the user, peregrine falcon, got to make it appears obvious he was banned for the heinous crime of saying he wishes more gurps 4e products were coming out, and complaining that maybe only 2-3 were going to be released in an entire year. He was told by Paul "the mad locker" chapman that there had been PDF products done, but he said he was only counting actual BOOKS, at which point he was told he was wrong because SJG counted PDFs as books.
So, lemme get this straight, a guy WANTS TO BUY MORE stuff from SJG, and says he's unhappy with the very, very limited number of gurps products coming out, and he's PERMABANNED for it.....
As usual at SJG, any criticism of Lord Jackson and his deciscions was taken as a "personal attack", and when the user in question said he had attacked no one, he was accused of "trolling", to which he replied that he didn't know that stating his opinion that there should be more gurps 4e products was "trolling". (As another guide to how to speak SJG forums talk, dissent or disagreement with anything the mods do is called "whining", at least by andy "the mad banner" hackard.)
He was then 'warned" (re threatened) and within a brief time permabanned despite the fact that SJG supposedly has a policy calling for temp bans at first.
Wow, can't even follow their own rules.....
Anyway, here's a link to the users post list, assuming they don't pull one of hackard's favorite moves and 'stalinize' the situation be eliminating all of the users posts. If they do I hope their system crashes.

If this is how they're going to treat someone who wants more of their stuff to buy, they may find him not buying their stuff at all...
You're right.
This guy uses way too many commas.

It should be, a bannable, offence.
Hm. Gone already. As usual, too slow... too slow.....
As a side note to this, I also note a pattern of mocking anyone who simply states an opinion not in sync with Lord Jackson's. For example, when peregrine falcon said he wanted books in paper format and not PDF, some of jackson's minions mocked him by whining that not enough gorps products were released in clay tablet format. This was unprovoked mockery and basically flaming, but no one was criticized for it because, well, they were flaming someon who had disagreed with The Perfect One.
Likewise, steve jackass himself mocked some people who simply expressed a concern that if SJG invested too heavily in the Munchkin card games and the market suddenly shifted it could hurt SJG by saying they were going "OMG what if the munchkin market dries up."
No one said anything like "OHMYGOD!" or something, jackass was just mocking people who expressed a legit concern and a basis for their view that SJG should not put all it's eggs in the munchkin basket and cut gurps products to a virtual sideline with 2-3 releases a year.
But like all true pompous, arrogant assholes, jackson is incapable of dealing with any dissent in a respectful or even matrue way, no, he just has to mock dissenters and, of course, have his dicklicks ban them from the forums.
I really like a lot about gurps, but if I'd know anything about His Majesty Jackson's attitude or the attitudes of his deputy fuerhers, I'd have never bought a single gurps book.
