I'd have to take you really seriously in order to be upset by you.  Since I don't, I'm able to see a good deal of humor in a lot of your posts.  I was worried that you might really be intending not to hang out on the site as much as you used to, and that would be a loss.

I can confirm that this is not the case. The chummyness and good humour are most definitely real online, as they are in real life. Tony is, in fact, a very chummy, good humoured kind of guy.

Unless you tell him his books haven't arrived on time. Then it's in to full 'duck and cover' mode. I still have the abrasions on my knees and elbows.

We should talk about games.  

I finally got Reign and have been slowly reading it.  I find it kind of text-heavy.  I wish there were more examples and a character sheet.  But the rules themselves look pretty interesting and I am going to be joining a campaign of it soon. I suspect it plays much better than it reads.  

I also believe that my hardcopy of Mutant Future is waiting for me at the post office.  I'll find out at lunch.  

Also, you all need to read The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz.  I'll start a new thread but that is literally a Pulitzer prize winning novel written by, as far as I can tell from the text, a hardcore gamer or ex-gamer who honestly knows his stuff.  It's also a great book.  We rise!
