Crap, one of my all time favourite authors. :(
I found him through is collaborations with Larry Niven, starting with Inferno, and got to really enjoy his work. An excellent writer always! I used to read his column in Byte too back in the day.
Damn. He was a fantastic author. I've read a ton of his books. RIP.
I have yet to read any...where to begin?

King David's Spaceship, Jannissaries (SP?), and Birth of Fire. If you'd like to PM your address, I can send you some extra copies I have at home.

Done did that thing, thank you very much! I'm always interested in finding a "new" author.
Never read his books but saw him multiple times on podcasts like TWIT.

Do you like history based science fiction? If so, then he may be an author worth trying for you.
