I'm not into superhero movies, so take my view with a grain of salt. But it seems like a number of reviewers agree with me: Deadpool & Wolverine was, at times, pretty funny, but otherwise meh (or worse: otherwise a mess).

Some of the humor landed, but not all of it*. I actually think it got funnier over time, but the plot got messier and messier.

But I wonder what the superhero fans would think of it?

*Sidenote: SJWs have also taught me, against my will, to gender-swap in my head. A LOT of the humor would NEVER get past the cutting room floor if the main character were a woman

I was hoping they would use this movie to introduce a new, more comic-accurate, actor for Wolverine. But, I'm assuming from the lack of spoilers, that didn't happen.

I saw Deadpool & Wolverine the day it came out. And I had fun at the movie. It was a popcorn-style movie. And I wasn't expecting much else going into it. It was a lot of mega-violence on top of mega-violence, Just as they intended.

My contention is that they've run the MCU so far into the ground, all they have left is Deadpool style parody.

Which is great if you're making a Deadpool movie. Not so much if you're making a film about any other part of the MCU.

I already feel like they're going to run Deadpool into the ground out of desperation to squeeze the last few bucks out of the franchise.
The notion of an exclusionary and hostile RPG community is a fever dream of zealots who view all social dynamics through a narrow keyhole of structural oppression.

Wrath of God

With all babbling this is movie that will be important for MCU and future - despite it zaniness - it seems it clearly won't be as action almost completely was kept to TVA, TVA wasteland and Deadpool original timeline ergo Fox-World.

I enjoyed it for all its goofiness and wanton violence. It had a nice arc for both protagonists and a world saving story. In a movie such as this its imho enough.
