This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Humping a dead seagull stuffed with Garlic, while the surest way to get rid of those pesky LARPers, is not kosher.

If he says I've dropped something, and should pick it up-it really means something else! That's the last time I fall for that trick pal!

Aos is funny, but now I think Age of Fables has regained the lead with his GURPS: Tom of Finland post.
"The difference between being fascinated with RPGs and being fascinated with the RPG industry is akin to the difference between being fascinated with sex and being fascinated with masturbation. Not that there\'s anything wrong with jerking off, but don\'t fool yourself into thinking you\'re getting laid." —Aos

I'm afraid, that joke needs to be explained to me. I'm sorry, I'll self flagellate shortly.

Tom of Finland was a famous gay artist who did slightly cartoony but hyper-realistic pictures of super-buffed dudes in leather.  I think he is considered to have had a major impact on gay culture and homosexual rights (he was doing this stuff back in the 60s and even earlier, I think).

Here's his website for more info:

(the splash page is safe for work, the inside probably not.)

Right self flagellation may not be appropriate after seeing that....o_O

walkerp

Or might actually be totally appropriate!  :D
