 On the phone - my Mom asked me who woman commander on BABYLON 5 used to be. I asked her " You mean Ivnaova or Claudia Christian?" She said yes thats who she wanted to remember. Told me that Sarah Palin reminds her of that character.
 I don't know why - I didn't even know she actually watched that show enough to know the characters.

Holy hell, I haven't even WATCHED this show but I'll be damned if that doesn't look about half-appropriate.

Except Palin is smoother, of course.

(but I'd still go for Roslin on a fair-weather day)

I'm pretty damned sure that's not Mary McDonnell.  The mouth looks like a part they took off of Tanya Roberts.
