This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm new here.

Naw - he said he liked bacon - but as an ingredient.
So that still counts.

There are plenty of food items that taste better as part of a soup or as part of a sandwhich than they do by themselves.

 Tomatoes for example.
I was never into eating a tomato by itself  - but as an ingredient in other things they're great.

A bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwhich on a bagel would make a pretty tasty lunch for example.

Ahoy, Matney!

...

...gee, did it take THIS long?

Anyway, welcome.  I don't cuss or fling poo, myself, but I CAN ramble on a bit and get airs, start thinkin' I'm The Fonz.

It's a coping mechanism, I think.

pfft. Bacon is not an "ingrediant". It is the master food.

While I acknowledge Bacon is the King of foods. I consider sausage (in all its forms) second in command. Therefore, also one of the master foods.

I recently told my wife that all I wanted for my birthday was a b.j. and a bacon sandwich....and I didn't care in which order.

Regardless of your failure to acknowledge bacon's food supremacy, welcome Matney.

Using the quantum physics of internet fetishes, the moment you wrote that, there were already three sites dedicated to just that.
