Because nowhere else on the internet can withstand the sheer awe of my presence.  In truest irony, being like unto a living saint I can only find refuge amongst those so embittered and cynical as to find even me utterly unimpressive.  :D

I am here to gain insight on all types of RPG games.  To engage in useful conversations about games and processes that make the hobby fun.  To meet new people from around the world who share a common interest. To take criticism and opinions with a grain of salt.      

I may not post a lot on the site, but this place is addictive.  Not to mention I am learning how to be a cock smock, and there is no lack of teachers around here.  :)

Well, I did wander over here after troubles elsewhere, but those troubles have been a long time coming, I just didn't want to see them.  So, I followed a link in a sig or something, and here I am.

Thanks for the kudos, Tim!  Besides good friends like that, and some people I had not seen in a long time, I like the atmosphere here.  I need you people to keep me sharp, on an intellectual and creative level.

I also enjoy the lack of status currency over here. It's almost impossible for a member to become a forum sweetheart in the same way as on other sites, which in hierarchical terms means there's very little clout to be wielded. People argue all the time without fear of being blackballed for upsetting Prince and Princess Precious Post.
