So I've seen it bandied about, apparently at random for 'person the Pundit doesn't like,' and I've had a look for a stock definition but without success...

(cue masses yelling, "look harder, moron!")

So what's the definition, around these parts, of swine?

Are either of those terms specific (like "They're a swine if they want-to-be X, but not if they want-to-be Y"?) or are they both general (like "If they are wannabes of any sort, and they are pretentious in any way, then they are swine"?)

My initial question was "What is it that they want to be?" but I realized that the question itself included a tacit assumption. :)

There's a war going on Fighterboy a war in the shadows that will change the very nature of the hobby. You may not be aware of it but there are people out there protecting your gaming group and all the others out there from a swinelike enemy with an agenda of artsy pretentiousness. They are called The Just and they are lonely heroic figures who battle it out on the new frontier of internet message boards and livejournals for the very soul of the hobby. You come here asking questions, looking for truth but you can't handle the truth! Go back to the safety of your little Yorkshire group and just thank God there are others there to face up to things you cannot.

Shit this has given me an idea for a campaign.
