This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, I finished reading 52, so now I know what the 52 referred to, finally.

The only thing I dread is that after the "countdown", they're going to make another "Crisis"; obviously.  And if you think about it, the logical title for this series (though I hope to the great magnet that they don't name it this) would have to be:

Crisis on Finite Earths :p

I have it on good authority that the next arc will be entitled "The Crisis of Inifinite Treachery", and will involve an interdimensional being stealing some old action figures out of the basement of Clark Kent's boyhood home in Smallville.

Superman, secretly under the effects of Red Kryptonite, will then bend this event to his own political advantage, creating a massive scandal out of who would dare steal from Superman.  Supes will be incredibly evasive about the actual importance or specific nature of what was actually stolen and it's value, but will nonetheless soldier forth in pushing for a massive nationwide investigation, while simultaneously milking the public's sense of charity.

Soon, questions will be raised, and all of the DCU will begin to take sides as to who was responsible, or whether the event is even worth the attention, and for no realy rational reason, this will of course result in open violence amongst the various supers.

Also, Robin will be killed.
