This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yeah I was there - as I mentioned up in Zach's GenCon thread.

Tehana told me about it, then invited me to go.

Here is the big purple's after-comment about it:

Nothing um "controversial" or anything...but yeah I was there, so was C.W. Richieson, Ezkatonic, Tehana, her boyfriend Arist, Tokezo Tekken, Tokezo Hime, cjh, RezCat.

We had Pizza, I contributed $5.00 for that, so did several other people. At one pomt FREE Mountain Dew, Pepsi and other drinks showed up .....

Some people played MonsterApocalypse at the main table.

Oh, and my current avatar?

That picture was taken in that room during the meet & greet. As a joke, everyone had to 'log-in' with their member names. Tehana and at least one other also signed in their sockpuppet account names - since none of the mods were there it didn't matter.

It was a good mix of really nice people with a few stand-offish ones. Funny part was when someone assumed I was C.W. Richieson. (I hope I spelled his last name right)

C.W. invited me Thursday, but I didn't make it.  I'm glad you had a good time.  C.W. isn't just a great reviewer, he's a sincerely nice guy, and I'd have liked to hang out with him more.

I missed this thread until now.

It was nice to meet you and it was fun to chat with various folks. C.W. is indeed a remarkably pleasant guy (and tall!).

This is where we start the rumor that CW Richeson is Koltar's sock puppet.

That won't work - people saw us in the same room together.

Besides, he's like 4 inches taller than I am - and I'm 6 foot one.

That last link has some damn good pictures. I'm the guy sitting at the head of table. Thats why a late arrival assumed I was C.W. - because of where I was sitting. Truth is, I had been walking all day and my legs were hurting like hell. Don't know if it shows in the pics, but my cane was pretty nearby me.

Which  Pic service thing is better for posting pics?
 Photobucket or Flikr??
I've got a whole bunch from GenCon you guys might get a kick out of.

Personally, I much prefer Google's Picasa.  It seems to organize the pictures in a much more logical way (i.e. one after the other) than Flikr and doesn't bombard you with options to buy the photos and have them printed.

I'd love to see your pics.

Flikr also has a limit on what you can upload each month.

Which sucks since I only could add a quarter of my vacation pics :/
