didnt think MCD was a bad kingpin at all, I thought he was great...I enjoyed daredevil...

FF didnt spark my intrest enough to see it in a theater, but did enough for me to rent it, wasnt that horrible i didnt think, thought it was decent...though the ending was abit meh

Ditto. Enjoyed Daredevil just fine as a movie, really liked Michael Clarke Duncan as the Kingpin.

I thought it was horrible. So much of it was nonsensical (Sue has to strip to "get past a police barricade" invisibly. When she arrives, she is inexplicably accompanied by Reed and Johnny...who somehow got by. Just one example).

And I know people really roll their eyes when you complain about comic continuity beihng absent, but come on!

Doom not a super genius with Powered armor and sorcery?

Just a rich fucker who gets turned into (basically) Colossus?

It was bad.

were this about the greatest comic book movies I would have a different opinion.

however, because it's about superheroes in general, i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Star Wars. that's right, I think Luke Skywalker was a true superhero, with a personalized nemesis and very strict adherence to Campbell's Hero with a Thousand Faces.

after that, The Incredibles really floats my boat.

I wasn't really engaged by The Avengers, which surprised me. While it wasn't bad, I certainly didn't get the charge out of it that I did from Ironman or even TDK. Yeah, I know I'm the only one.
