Go tothe forums on //www.scifi.com and check out the avatars of the posters in the battlestar galactica forums, they've for some good ones.

Thats actually kinda funky.  Though the stickmen really appeals to me.  Unfortunately its not up to me.  I only make the rules.

As amusing as annoying Pundit can be, using animated avatars means bigger files, and so slower load times for any poor souls trapped on a dialup connection. But if you do it anyway, definitely go with the stickmen. If you don't, I will. :)

Damn, I'm checking the stickmen avatar's size, and it's 38.5 Kb. The forum's limit is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller). Sorry... :(

seeing as the stickmen are out of bounds, GRIM's just made me laugh out loud - first time ever from a forum.  The bottom one though, the top dudes a bit too near the knuckle (or knee, or shoulder) for me.

They actually made me feel rather queasy (even the cartoon one).  Something about images like those unnerve me on a visceral level.

Stickmen without animation are better than the alternatives.

Hate the amputee ones, they're kind of disturbing and one of them is a real person.

My personal favourites are still the stickmen (if only we could make them fit and animate) and now the scooby doo badge ( or scrappy doo if I'm feeling like a git)
