This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So What's Everyone Playing These Days?

Exploderwizard

Was recently playing in a Warhammer 1E campaign. The GM is taking a break from running so someone else is resuming a 5E D&D campaign at the moment.

Running another 5E D&D campaign set in Karameikos. This one has been running since 5E released and the party is 14th-15th level. Currently started running a conversion of CM2 Death's Ride.

Also running an AD&D 1E campaign (PHB only no UA stuff) with the party currently adventuring inside the Forbidden City.
Quote from: JonWakeGamers, as a whole, are much like primitive cavemen when confronted with a new game. Rather than \'oh, neat, what\'s this do?\', the reaction is to decide if it\'s a sex hole, then hit it with a rock.

Quote from: Old Geezer;724252At some point it seems like D&D is going to disappear up its own ass.

So did you?

Molotov

Right now, I'm running Dark Albion. Ran yesterday's session using Alephtar's Revolution d100. While it's a fine ruleset, I'm looking at switching over to FH&W or possible Pundit's included house system (or a blend).

I'm also midway running through a JB007 game ("The Island of Dr. No) online, with one player (as 007).

I've got a five session BASH game, semi-Marvel setting with Dr. Strange and Elektra reboots as the PCs, but currently on break.

Omega

DavetheLost

Currently running Mutant Future. At 13 players I am going to break the campaign into two groups.

Chainsaw

Mostly active at conventions over the past two years: Gary Con (March), NTRPG Con (June) and GameHole (Nov).

- Running Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea (AS&SH)
- Playing AD&D and OD&D

They're all packed up at home. Will be on my to do list as soon as they arrive in September.

nope

Just finished pre-game prep, winding up to start 1.5 new GURPS campaigns (I call it 1.5 because they're both happening in the same setting, at the same time, but in different locales with different scopes and characters).

These days if I'm gaming at all, odds are that I'm probably running some variety of GURPS; that being said, I'm usually reading a few other games for mechanics or philosophies to shamelessly assimilate for the purposes of my own campaign/system. I also recently snagged a few DCC adventures for re-fluffing down the line, 'break in case of emergency'-type stuff can be handy to have around.

tenbones

Currently running FFG Star Wars Sith campaign set in the Old Republic.

Willmark

Moldvay Basic at the moment. If I run something next with our group it will be 1st edition WFRP.

FaerieGodfather

Currently running Marvel Heroic Roleplaying based on the Exiles series. Planning Barbarians of Lemuria based on Super Mario Bros. (System #6 for this particular obsession.)
