This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

No I don't. It was only a couple bucks.  I don't regret it at all because I still enjoy looking at it.  If I regret investing in stocks, it would be spending $20,000 during my enlistment on beer and food instead of buying Apple at $5 a share.
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.

Tell that to the Transformer toy collector market where opened but complete $10 retail toys from a year ago can run about 50-100 dollars depending on the character.

There are some toys I want that I never even got to see in stores before they were basically gone everywhere unless you wanted to pay 3 times retail price online.

.

Or Magic cards.  I used to have a bunch of 1st printing stuff that I sold about 10 years or so ago, including 2 Black Lotus.  You wanna know how much they are selling for now?  Between $1000-$2000 each.

Ouch.
