This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Lots of monsters, some DM advice and some magic items http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules
Don\'t mess with cats we kill wizards in one blow.;)

Saplatt

Cool!  More monsters, including trolls, giants & swarms.

One dragon on the monster list?  Did I see that right?

It's "Dungeons & Dragon. Yes, just one."
"When devils will the blackest sins put on, they do suggest at first with heavenly shows..."

The DM guide.  finally!  I'm very happy :)
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.

The Dragon Queen free pdf supplement has a few others in it.

And I was wondering what they'd do with headbands of intellect.Treated like gauntlets of ogre power rather than belts of giant strength. Raises INT to 19. Keeps caster DCs from getting ridiculous. I like it.

yep, that's the supplement with the other dragons.

And Marlycat?  guess what?

If you roll for starting hp, a cat can still kill a wizard in one round (if you roll a 1) :)

I really like Legendary Creatures, Legendary Lairs, and Regional Effects of Legendary Creatures.  This stuff is made of awesome, and exactly what my current campaign needs for the big bad at the end of the mega dungeon my players are nearing on.

One Horse Town

Blimey, that's a generous number of monsters. Me likey.

I came across two Dragons in the file, one under "A" for Adult, and one under "Y" for Young.

Two actual dragons in that PDF (red and young green), and then one addtional dragon-type (Wyvern).  So three dragons.

I note with interest that potions now seem to be identifiable by their look and behaviour. The invisibility potion is invisible. The potion of vitality has a heartbeat, and the potion of flying is lighter than air and has clouds in it...
Check out Gurbintroll Games for my free RPGs (including Dark Dungeons and FASERIP)!

Its not a problem. After all anyone can find out the properties of any magic item just by spending an hour whispering sweet nothings to it.
Quote from: JonWakeGamers, as a whole, are much like primitive cavemen when confronted with a new game. Rather than \'oh, neat, what\'s this do?\', the reaction is to decide if it\'s a sex hole, then hit it with a rock.

Quote from: Old Geezer;724252At some point it seems like D&D is going to disappear up its own ass.
