This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about...the legal battle is not over and just because there was an injunction denied doesn't mean that there's possible risk here.  If they spend the money and then the release is blocked, what will happen?

To be fair, I'm more annoyed with everybody involved (the three partners) rather than taking a side since this could have been handled a lot more smoothly and if there were cracks in the partnership before the first Kickstarter started or ended, it troubles me.

I might still sign up for this just because I'd want to see the film, but I am still hesitant about the risk involved.

At least they aren't the Yogscast Kickstarter though.  Man, talk about a mess.

Id never back anything from Yogcast after they have acted like total jerks at conventions and online.
