This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Forums that Game Publishers Frequent

Some of the other threads got me thinking about this.  What are the main forums/media that game publishers are now using or are frequenting?

From what I've seen:

G+ Gareth Skarka, Raggi (and a few others I'm sure; I'm not a big presence on G+)

Here: Pundit, Brendan, J Arcane, myself, Flying Mice, and I know I'm forgetting at least two dammit!

RPG.net:  Is Steven Conan Tristam (I think that's his name) the only one left who is a frequent poster?  I know there are a couple others, but only infrequently post in the Game Design area.

TGD: ?

Dragonsfoot: Mentzer and several of the OSR crowd
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.

I post a *lot* on G+. I also run the Roleplaying Games Community on G+ with a few thousand members, as well as being an admin at a few other communities. :D

I still post at tBP. Even with its inherent signal to noise ratio problem, there are still so damn many people on it that some are bound to find some of my stuff interesting.

I hardly ever post design stuff here any more as I never get much feedback. My fault, as I don't develop stuff this place is actually interested in, like tBP.

Perhaps, mostly the publisher's own forums?

I've seen plenty of publishers pop in to Rpg.net, Rpgsite, etc. to promote their products or clarify confusion over their Rpg. But many seem to post the most content on their own company's forums.

RPGnet can often be counted on to have the latest information on what White Wolf is up to, to the extent that for instance the current Demon speculation threads on the actual WW boards largely just recap what the authors have revealed over there.
Previously known by the name of "GrimGent".

I prefer to lurk about here, but find there's more exposure for RQ and our books over at tBP. However I don't post much over there either.  Most of the time Loz and I answer queries raised on our own company forum.

In terms of RPGnet, the other ones I have seen and can think of off the top of my head:

Ewen for Starline Publishing
The Onyx Path
Jerry for Khepara Press
Steve Kenson and Jack for Green Ronin
Cam Banks for MWP and Atlas Games

Kevin Crawford of Sine Nomine sometimes posts here and at RPG.net. Usually just about his own games.

The ASSH guy seems to get around as well.

On a related note, does anyone know of a forum where Paul Mason or any of the A&E crowd post?

If you mean aces & eights - in aces and eights forums over at Kenzo&Co site.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed
