This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Need Your Help with Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry Voting, D&D-related Vlogs

Felicia Day runs a sight called Geek and Sundry. She is looking for video bloggers from a variety of interests to participate in the open application process. This stage involves the public voting.

My wife Melody runs Geeklings and Parental Units, a parents group for geeks.  There are members from around the U.S., but the principal membership comes from the Los Angeles area, and we have lots of get-togethers.

One of the events we're about to do is a parents playing D&D event.  I'll be DMing a 5e game to begin with, but we're probably going to play with other versions of the game as well. We're also discussing ways to introduce our geeklings to D&D, if they show an interest in it, the line between pushing your hobby on your kids and kids interested on their own in the game, and things like that.

If my wife got the position as a vlogger, there would definitely be some D&D related content at some point in her video blogs.  Possibly some non-D&D games as well (there is interest in old school games and space-related games in the group).

It would be super-nice if folks reading this could please, PLEASE, vote for this and support my wife Melody. No hoops to jump through, just click link, click vote, easy peasy. We need your votes! Thank you for considering it.

Ok, I voted. All I ask in return is marriage to Felicia.

Done, to be honest of the list available your's sounded the best so in theory should be an easy win :)

Proud Graduate of Parallel University.

The Mosaic Oracle is on sale now. It\'s a raw, open-sourced game design Toolk/Kit based on Lurianic Kabbalah and Lambda Calculus that uses English key words to build statements. If you can tell stories, you can make it work. It fits on one page. Wait for future games if you want something basic; an implementation called Wonders and Worldlings is coming soon.

Awesome, thanks guys.

My wife is acquaintances with Felicia, and the one time I actually had a conversation with her, she was awesome.  A genuinely kind, warm, and giving person.  There was nothing even the slightest bit fake about her.

I'm totally sure she is! No arguments on that score from me, I'm not going to go on a "fake geek girl" rant because that's stupid. I'm just bored of seeing her and Wheaton in anything vaguely geeky. Give me Quinns and Leigh Alexander any day.

Anyway, I voted, so good luck!
