This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

surprised they didnt try swinging it in a side slash instead of an overhead chop i'd imagine something of that size and weight would be alot more lethal from a side angle.

And a LOT harder to handle. Possibly injuring yourself in the process.

Found comments regarding the Berserk sword he made, which apparently was lighter (as he could actually use it)... apparently it cuts like ass on the side swing. I'd guess air resistance, making it act more like a crappy wing than a blade?

Anyway: Cute as they are, he apparently works with unhardened sheet steel and just does welding and grinding. I imagine a proper smith could do a slightly better job of making a... ahm... functional Buster sword.  I'm not a proper smith, however, so I'd probably make the damn thing out of aluminum and just add a hard steel 'edge' piece for the cutty bits.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.
