This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Your Highest Level?

The Butcher

8th level (Fighter), AD&D 2e, legit.

13th level (Wizard), AD&D 2e, starting at 12th level, for a Dragon Mountain run.

Though we played a lot of AD&D 2e (and I usually ran D&D RC), extended campaigns were few and far between.

dekaranger

A 12th level cleric in the colored boxed sets of Dungeons and Dragons.  The only D&D I've ever played actually.
Playing: L5R  Defending the honor of the Crane.
Playing soon:  Hopefully L5R for a while.

Benoist

Around level 20-22 of Bard, plus levels prior, with a few tomes etc. Legit.

ggroy

In one game, I got up to a  20th level magic user in a semi-legit manner.  Though in this particular case, the DM played things in a monty haul manner along with XP for treasure.  This game was also played almost every day for a few months.  (It was during the summer when school was out, and we had nothing else better to do at the time).

Without monty haul and no XP for treasure, the highest level character I got up to in a legit manner was a 10th level fighter.

Joethelawyer

31 MU, AD&D, legit, yet it was in the munchkin teenage years.  The good old days, where we would play every spare hour we had.
~Joe
Chaotic Lawyer and Shit-Stirrer

JRients:   "Joe the Lawyer is a known shit-stirrer. He stirred the shit. He got banned. Asking what he did to stir the shit introduces unnecessary complication to the scenario, therefore he was banned for stirring the shit."

Erik Mona: "Woah. Surely you\'re not _that_ Joe!"

beeber

B/E (moldvay) 9th level magic-user, legit.

after that i just reffed ad&d 1e, rarely played.  did a lot of start at x level for the hell of it; i think the highest then was mid-teens, maybe 17 tops.  so long ago. . . .

Doom

AD&D, 9th level, 2nd ed 11th level.
3.0/3.5, 7th level.

Outside of Dungeons and Dragons, made it to 8th level in Warhammer Quest (took a few weeks of dedicated play with friends), level 2 wizard in WFRP (1st ed), and with 4e, well, my top player is level 16.
(taken during hurricane winds)

A nice education blog.

Benoist

AD&D2 I just can't remember off the bat. Might be Lucien, my Lycanthrope bard, which was 8th or 10th level.
In 3rd ed, it's Amalruth, which was a horned devil with levels of Unfettered (Arcana Evolved). I reached the equivalent of level 15 or so with that one.

kryyst

Original D&D all the way to 2nd rank ( I forget the exact naming) Immortals from the box set.
AccidentalSurvivors.com : The blood will put out the fire.

You mean Mentzer D&D, I guess.

Daedalus

My group is currently playing 3.5 D&D and although its not really a game I enjoy our characters in 3.5 are level 8 legit (my character is a wizard).

Novastar

2nd Edition D&D saw my only lvl18 Wizard.
By the end, he created a new race for the campaign world.

3.5 D&D, I think my highest was a lvl10 Paladin.
He's one of my least favorite characters, since his alignment seemed to be "Lawful Jerk", according to the DM's idea on Paladin's. :banghead:

Both legit.

Drohem

1e AD&D = 14th level half-elf Thief
2e AD&D = 14th level (9/10) half-ef Cleric/Mage
1e/2e AD&D = 15th level human Myrikhan (started under 1e AD&D and converted to 2e AD&D when published).

IMLegend

#28
9th level halfling barbarian (no, really), legit, 3.5 D&D

12th level half-orc fighter, legit, 4e D&D

Edit: Shit, now that I think about it, we started out at 2nd level with the halflings, so just the half-orc I guess.
My name is Ryan Alderman. Real men shouldn\'t need to hide behind pseudonymns.

Abyssal Maw

I've DM'd 1st to 20th more than once in D&D3.5. (campaigns run about 8month to 15 months.. you can't do that too often).

My highest level played is 12th. My highest level 4E character is Sheena, who is 7th.
