Anyone know a good modern colloquial (not too obscure) for the job of doctor. All i know is sawbones, which is rather old west.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

So this is a descriptive for a stat or skill?

What sort of game is it?  Do you have examples of other skills from the game that might help finding a word that fits the atmosphere you're going for?

(Though I do like the sound of "I have three ranks in Ignorant MFer!" :) )

I work in an emergency room. You have three nicknames for Doctors:
Docs, Coats, and Gods (Surgeons usually, attendings often).

(Only doctors outside of the ER normally wear the white coats).

Residents, doctors in training, are called Ducklings, because they follow behind a God like a ducklings behind a mommy duck in a little line.

We call all medicals (medical trained people) , medicals, meds, and most recently medfolk.
