This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I finally got my Gamma World 4th book back today, and so of course started poking about on the internet looking for stuff for it.

First, I found this site, http://www.gammaworld.us/, which among other things, has a character generator for DOS for Gamma World 4th.

Of course, I'm on OS X now, so I went seeking DOSbox and a frontend for it, and I find Boxer, a rather nifty Mac OS X version, which allows such spiffy tricks like making DOS application folders for easy execution.

So I make myself a package for the Gamma World creator I found, and go looking for icons.  And while digging through Google image search for icon fodder, I find this page: http://gameworld.thesnakefarm.com/gamma/

Some nice GM somewhere has taken the liberty of converting Gamma World to the d6 system, and posted it online.

I thought that was pretty damn cool.

I know this guy who is going to run GW 4th at an upcomming con. He is a HUGE D6 fan. I'll have to send this along! Thanks!

If you have never read them, check out " Mutant World" and " Son of Mutant World" by  Richard Corben. Amazing art and cool stories by one of the all time comic greats. I was heavily influenced by these comics when I use to run my own Gamma World campaign.
"Crom!", mutterd the Cimmerian. " Here is the grandfather of all parrots. He must be a thousand years old! Look at the evil wisdom of his eyes. What mysteries do you guard, Wise Devil?"
