This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Where's the Conan? I've heard that the Mongoose Conan RPG is good, basically a 3ed fork.

Found Note Pad Anon's stuff via the list so suggesting a few more things of his

Bridge Commander is an Evangelion like

Deep Blue Girls is inspired by Kanti-Colection and Azure Lane

Iron Caskets: Steel Glory has a Girls Und Panzer variant

Project Sidewinder Would work for Ace Combat or Project Wingman I'd assume (The later being a clone of the former)

Cruelty Squad The Physical Sensation Edition is an adaption of Cruelty Squad

Danmaku Rhapsody of Spirit Axcelerate is yet another Touhou game (Apparently Jank and getting a remake)

Endless Adventures is based off the Endless series (IE Endless Space, Endless Legend ETC)

Fear and Hunger: Solus in Somnium is based on Fear and Hunger

Stopping here for the adaptations part of the site as they're all obvious thankfully.

The Mongoose Atlantean Edition is in my top 5 of RPGs, all-time. It's essentially D&D 3rd with Conan trappings, so you have to view it from that lens. Once you embrace the tactical combat nature of it, pretty much 98% my ideal wargame coupled with some roleplaying.
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

Apparently there was a Lone Wolf RPG by Mongoose-- this is getting exciting. Making note of it here so I don't forget by tomorrow.

It's closest to Area 88.

That Risus game mentioned on the list has a fair few conversions https://www.risusiverse.com/home/settings

Yeah, many are incomplete but I do intend on sorting through them. The playground one is a perfect system for Disney's Recess. Genius, really.

Quote from: Witch Hunter Siegfried on March 05, 2025, 10:24:37 PMNP, forgot to mention, for Phantasmal Land I made fillable character sheets on the IA page if you'd prefer to link that one instead of the archived site https://archive.org/details/touhou-tale-of-phantasmal-land/Touhou%20Tale%20of%20Phantasmal%20Land%20Character%20Sheet/

Meaning that it can be filled in browser or a PDF viewer.

https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=13885.0 Also while I haven't too much of this and don't really know the system, there's some fan made Errata for Phantasmal Land aswell which might be worth looking at.

Stumbled on this, a Cyberpunk 2020 fanbook to play in the 2070s (Ergo when 2077 and Edgerunners is set)

And here's a similar one for Red (the other one with permission borrows from here), though we're getting this officially at some point soon https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VUE4hNCgCoCigSw8UlE-Q_lg5FfzZmIX3pqoCEU7H3o/edit?tab=t.0

For Gundam, Gundam Senki is a book for Mektron (which is already super Gundam inspired lol, even it's edition name "Zeta" is a reference, so I'd suggest adding it for Gundam)), also it was never officially translated due to R Talsorian apparently not being able to find someone, here's a (incomplete) fan translation https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B5t7EShjibTTbzlUWVRIRlhnS0U?resourcekey=0-PK_g3VYs7pUVGgUBljP32g&usp=drive_link

I've been writing a eulogy and need more time before I get back to this. I haven't forgotten-- just not in a good emotional state to accurately sort and list these.
