First, thanks for letting me know it was the deal of the day. My publisher didn't give me a heads up.

Second, the Old School Companion is designed for Lion & Dragon, but as an OSR product it has a ton of stuff you can incorporate very easily into any D&D-based game. It has tons of stuff for ritual magic based on real hermetic texts. It also has a bunch of stuff to give your setting an increased medieval flavor.

And some faerie stuff that comes out of ancient folktales and legend.

I bought it when it first came out, worth every penny. Lots and lots of material you can use in pretty much any game, honestly.
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.
