This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yes, well, they seem ready and willing to fire those that are dead set against the changes they are making, so they agree with you. Oh, wait, you thought you were onthe winning side? Silly boy.
At the end of the day, the "winning" side is the one that makes money.  As Bud Lite, Disney, Dr. Who, et al., have found out, firing existing customers in the hopes of attracting new customers seldom results in more profit.  If WH40K rakes in the cash, then they will have made the right decision.  But their stock price seems to agree with us more than you...
All of those you mention are still around making money. They may be willing to take a short-term hit in profits for the possibility of reaching a newer group of customers. Maybe they will be proven to have made the wrong choice, but maybe they will eventually be proven right. Either way, they'll still make money.

Greetings!

*Laughing* Totally right, my friend! Bud Light made such an absolutely wonderful decision to get on their knees for Tranny dick that the company lost *bullions of dollars*. Something like 30% of their previous market share--in a fucking month. Evidently the powers that be were not amused by the Woke BS, and the entire staff involved in driving the company Woke--including high executives--have been terminated, and their careers are brutally crushed.

So, let Games Workshop get on their fucking knees for the tranny hippos. They can watch as their fantastically profitable company faces absolute financial ruin and disaster.

GOOD! Yet more examples of the pathetic, Woke insanity. I laugh when all these Woke morons become unempliyed, ruined, and in poverty. Let their whole company burn to the fucking ground.

The really GOOD thing about all of this mess is that there are plenty of successful competitor companies, as well as lean, new, up and coming young corporations that are not interested in Woke BS, but instead are interested in building a loyal, sane, and profitable business foundation and customer base. More than a few of these other hobby companies are producing excellent miniatures and excellent games.

Games Workshop may manage to somehow survive as a hollowed-out shell of a company--while they face the harsh reality that their company, dominant for so long, has lost the big game, and are no longer relevant. They will lament bitterly that their legacy is in the sewer, and they are remembered only within current circles as a hobby company to mock and laugh at.

After a quick check, GW's stock has shown growth over a 5-year period, and is projected to grow further. It is currently listed as a "strong buy" here.

Also, what is your source connecting female Custodes and "tranny hippos?"

I'm just going to leave this here as a sample of how well Disney is doing.

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

Bud Lite, Disney and Dr Who are all huge losers...still making money is not exactly true.  Operating at a loss is a better description.  Just because people with lots of money will fuel them while they correct themselves is not the same as making money.  Appealing to a TINY FRACTION of the population to "reach new customers" while creating conditions where as 10-50 percent of existing client base might leave is about as bad as business gets.  It sort of looks like the decisions are not business based...at all.

I think 40k and GW can keep their pandering to a bare minimum and still have success.  I suspect their trajectory being so late relative to some other big corps also means they can check the wind before proceeding with a losing proposition.  Of course the "board members" might decide they proceed as planned and the profits be damned.

I got contacted by my army painter today. She's willing to do a Combat Patrol or Battleforce for me. She owns a game store in the UK. So she is getting the assistance she needs to get me set up. We will work things out so I get a good start.

So to those smart-asses who said I don't play. Up yours!

You know, I would love to make an alternative to 40k and flex my worldbuilding muscles. I have a few ideas for major civs that are basically space cowboys, space angels, and space ants.

I don't have the eyesight for painting intricate details. Which is why I have other people do my painting of minis for me.

I've honestly never been a very good painter. So having someone else do them for me with my design input works best for me.

Far be it from me to chide ANYONE for not painting their own minis, between my eyesight and shaky hands...

You should do it.
