Beast: The Primordial seems pretty offensive. See, the entire premise is that the PCs are literal storybook monsters and their presence causes some people to become heroes in order to vanquish them, but the game tries to frame the monsters as the victims (despite the fact that they literally eat people to maintain their existence and have absolutely no conscience whatsoever) and the literal heroes as the bad guys (even though the heroes only go crazy because of said monsters in the first place). Oh, and for no apparent reason they are best friends will all the other PC classes despite any logical reasons to be in conflict (like the eating people thing).

The kicker and reason it's offense? It was written by a pedophile.

Beasts are metaphors for pedophiles and how they see themselves as unfairly victimized for raping children. That's pretty much the nadir of the World of Darkness as an IP. The worst part isn't that this happened, but that the community still wants to play the game as opposed to burning it.

Not that I'd ever play World of Darkness games given their long history of scandals, their toxic community, and their really pretentious writing (at this point I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the IP was cursed), but if I did then the first house rule I would institute is that PCs who lose all their sanity become beasts and that is the way that beasts come into being. In other words, they're the ultimate villains because they think they're unfairly victimized for raping people.

It doesn't make a difference since freelancers are only paid once. WW profits from his work every time it sells, but pedo doesn't. There's no moral reason to not buy his freelance work besides it potentially being pedo apologism.
