It is like trying to make a clone of D&D and just targeting straight white males and making it a punishable by death crime to attack evil Orcs because it's wrong to attack non-humans. They still have 15 days to go yet 4000$ so far on a planned 20000$ planned budget I'm not sure they can pull it off. Especially not after looking truly sad, pathetic and bending over backwards to look woke. Who creates a game where outlaws are supposed to be the good guys. I don't know how about creating a western rpg where the heroes are heroes.

In all fairness, after skimming through the quick start rules, the game looks weak even dismissing the kinder, gentler, outlaws angle. A very narrow focus on outlaws in the early 1880s and an apparent lack of knowledge of the genre. It kind of makes me wonder if they've ever actually seen a western movie, or TV show.

I will say the artwork they have shown for the game is nice, it is too bad the game doesn't meet the standard of the illustrations.

So you play an outlaw but you are the misunderstood hero, not a Confederate soldier who is simply a dick. The misunderstood hero with a tragic background is typical trope for these cocks. Shooting ex-confederate Pinkerton agents with non-white outlaws is their masturbation fantasy.
