This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I am a big fan of the how the system in the Star Trek Adventures handles older ships by giving them upgrades. I am not a fan of the system and was wondering of their is something similar in the old Icons Star Trek rpg.

I'm not sure quite what you are asking for.  But whenever anyone asks about anything to do with starships in the Last Unicorn iteration of Star Trek I point them to the Spacedock rulebook and Starship Recognition Manuals available to download for free at Memory Icon.

The former is a comprehensive guide to designing and modifying starships, the latter is a set of books collecting data and statistics for a huge number of ships across the eras.

For a second there, I was really confused, thinking someone had done a Star Trek game using the supers rules from ICONS.
