This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What game system to run "The Gifted"?

I'm enjoying the Fox TV show "The Gifted" and it has given me the desire to run a game based loosely on the premise.  I considered using V&V for it, but I don't think a superhero game is the right one to go for this.  This should be a game about being hunted and surviving.  I'm leaning toward Cyberpunk 2020 and just bolting on powers.  But are there any games designed for this, or with the right feel, from the start?

TLDR (really?):

Cyberpunk 2020 + powers
V&V
Psionics

or other?

I agree that the Gifted doesn't really have a superhero feel to it, even though characters have superhero-style powers. I've never found a superhero game that I really liked but I'm wondering if something like Shadowrun would work. (I haven't played Shadowrun in years, but I seem to recall a blend of the magical and modern-day. It might have the right mix of gritty and fantastic.)

Otherwise, Mutants & Masterminds might be a system to look into.

Haven't seen this but I wouldn't do Cyberpunk+ there's gotta be a system that would fit out there.
