SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Why we were down.

Sarah has worked long hard days at Tardis games as a maid. She has the hots for Billy in accounting.  After many weeks of heated glances they decide to get busy in the server room.  Sarah's foot caught the powercord in a moment of passion.  Honest Pooka's truth!

i believe it.  :)  oh, those naughty kids!
don't quote me on that.  :)

Visit the Creature Catalog for all your D&D 3E monster needs!  :)

Sounds like somebody needs to set up a security camera in the sever room. Perferably a streaming webcam one.
Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways, it's still rock and roll to me.

You can talk all you want about theory, craft, or whatever. But in the end, it's still just new ways of looking at people playing make-believe and having a good time with their friends. Intellectualize or analyze all you want, but we've been playing the same game since we were 2 years old. We just have shinier books, spend more money, and use bigger words now.

As long as we weren't the only ones going down.

I'm not really fluent in forumspeak, but isn't this what is normally called an actual play? :ponder:

They were trying out some of the optional LARPing rules from the BoEF.

I hope they used protection.

With all that rubbing together they should have at least had an anti-static wrist band.

Oh, great.  Now you went and said it!  The Catholic Church will be banning static-free wristbands now...

Don't worry, I'm sure that Opus Dei already had it on the list of things to bring up to the pope... unless they had inward pointing spikes of course...
"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

That's true.  Hmm.  Gotta wonder about an organization that is okay with hardcore S&M but not condoms...
