SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My class based title seems to have disappeared at or around post 2,103.

RPGPundit

I don't know why, but someone had changed his user group momentarily. If any of the Admins were involved, please let me know.

Out of curiosity, what is my group membership being changed to?

Someone will be getting back to you on this, I hope.

I put you back in the "registered user" group. So you should have the title for a poster of your class and # of posts now.

James McMurray

Gracias senor! Which group had I been bumped to?

James McMurray

Odd. It looks like it happens every time I post. I had a title before I replied to this thread, and after I replied it was gone.

James, try posting again here.  I want to see what happens.

I can see your title, and it hasn't left you.  It's a hiccup, that's all.

Actually, I just fixed it again.  That's why I asked him to post here.

Sorry, I didn't see this before I'd posted in the General RPG subforum, and my title is now gone again. I'm guessing it'll still be gone after I post this.

hhmmmmmmmmm........

not sure what to do about that, we might need MR. Tech Admin to look @ that one.

James McMurray

Do admins have the ability to edit someone's post count? If so, drop mine to 2,095 and I'll experiment to see if there's a trigger point. That may give the techie a little more to go on.

I tried an alternative solution.  James, please post again  so we can see if it worked or not.
