SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Ah, good idea brother. Headgear designed to keep Mahna Mahna in your mind, you are boon to our cause. We must begin spreading these head coverings to the masses that they may partake in Mahna Mahna as well.

Quote from: MegamieuwselBeing a member of all the various incarnations , you can apply mostly all the arguments , already presented here to me. (Save for the "not-blocked-from-work"-issue , since my job is kinda "computer.free"...)
Plus : It's nice to read game-related stuff by SHARK and King Stannis without having their socio-political ramblings , elsewhere on the site , cast a shadow over it.
I think they'd make for a great gaming group , if RL-politics could be left outside....

Oh , and before I forget :

Hey there Mega! I'm glad you're interested!

I was fucking invited, that's why I'm here.

Actually, that sums it up. I've been banned because of my foul mouth and nasty attitude from a lot of places. Top it off with Pooka offered me a design diary/blog and I lept at the chance.

Plus, he told me he wouldn't censor the blog too badly.

So, I was fucking invited, and plan to stay till the beer is gone.
I am becoming more and more hollow, and am not sure how much of the man I was remains.

Seconded. T-Willard tells it like it is, and even if I don't like how it is mostly, I still admire him. Censor him? Fuck, you should extra bold his words and sticky them as gospel.

I'm here via NTL.  The game dicussions over there were always better than the standard faire at ENW (the only other game site I've ever bothered to join and participate).  Plus, where else are we going to get to see some of the more (in)famous banned folk on the net talk about gaming?

Quote from: NikchickI suppose I should have registered as something other than Nikchick, and then I could rage around as an anonymous entity without having to deal with people associating me with my job.
You have a job? What kind of gamer are you?!!

:heh:

I am here because I like to check out all forums about roleplaying. I like lively and interesting conversations, as far as I'm concerned, rpg books are just a bunch of rules for a lively and interesting conversation where everyone tells tall stories.

This joint's looking okay so far. We'll see in a while once it really gets going. A few arbitrary bans (they're all arbitrary until you get some rules, and any forum with more than a couple hundred members always ends up with some rules or other) and a few frequent posters here and there will set the tone for the place, and then we'll see.

I'm a refugee.  I like most of the refugees and like chatting with y'all.  I'm not around much because the decomming of NTL came at a time when I was being forced to reduce my on-line time, anyway.

I was a member of the original Nukinland and they have been trying to get rid of me ever since. I miss my Rainbow Randell and Nazi Living Dead Girl!

The rules are simple.  The admins let you do whatever until you start doing things that annoy them and make the place less fun for them.  Then they curb stomp you.

The admins give warnings, though, 'cause they hate to have to lace up their combat boots.

Well, the koi fish says that Pooka guy has a boner for the ban-hammer, so be careful.

Read the charter on the way in? If not I suggest reading it now - the link is on the base of each page.
