Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Idea For New Message Base...

[Note to RPGPundit: I didn't send this as a PM simply because I wanted to get the feedback of the group first.]

Greetings to all..

I had an idea that I'd like to put to the rest of you (and especially RPGPundit).

Obviously for  a new message base. The base would be called "Story of Your Campaign" (or something to that effect). The base could be set up the same way  the Game Reviews base is (or whatever works). Basically, each user would have the capability to create their own entry - named after the name of the campaign they are currently running.  Then, each user could - if they wanted to - give us a overview of what happened that week in their game.

I think it would certainly be interesting to see everyone else's gaming experiences and there's always the possiblity that something in one person's campaign may provide an inspiration to someone else to use in their campaign.

I was going to just do this in a new thread, and then I thought it might be something others would be interested in, hence this post.

Here's the format I'd be using for each entry:

Game name.

# of characters and their names.

Basic Synopsis, including a few interesting details. Maybe 2-5 paragraphs tops.

That's it. But you could use whatever format works best for you, of course.

So what do you think? Would you be interested in participating in such a base? Or do you think that would be too much of a pain in the ass?

Pseudoephedrine

We used to have microblogs on the site where people did just that, but they were removed. I've asked to have them back a couple of times, as some of the guys in my various groups used to post game summaries here and stopped posting when the blogs were taken away.
