It seems that this board uses the ENWorld approach to determining if a post is "new", meaning it just asks "was it posted since the last time the user was here?"
Is there any way of fixing it so it instead uses the NTL approach, which is "was it posted since the last time the user viewed that thread?" Because that would kick ass.
Agreed. I'm having adjustment difficulties.
I do dig that about NTL (shit, I mean DID dig that, past tense now I guess). I think Nut Test does the same thing. Very handy.
i'll toss my vote in for the same.
Agreed the last viewed way of testing newness is much better.
I concur, it would make browsing this forum a lot easier.
Let me check the admincp - I thought that was the default for vb 3.5 but maybe I was wrong.
Any word about it?
Still the same...
Ok, found the switch for it. Didn't realize the default was off. It will take a day or two for this to become active.
Thanks for the change!
*Me approves greatly!*

I haven't shaved for a while, I think it makes me a fuzzy! :D
it's gone now.... i'm so sad... where did it go?
What's gone?
the little link on the top lefthand corner of a thread that says "view first unread post."
it's one of those features I use and love a lot. :(
A form gremlin stole it from the boards. After a short but brutal battle involving a knife fight I got it back.
grazie singore. va bene.
