Main Menu
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It seems that this board uses the ENWorld approach to determining if a post is "new", meaning it just asks "was it posted since the last time the user was here?"

Is there any way of fixing it so it instead uses the NTL approach, which is "was it posted since the last time the user viewed that thread?"  Because that would kick ass.

Agreed. I'm having adjustment difficulties.

I do dig that about NTL (shit, I mean DID dig that, past tense now I guess). I think Nut Test does the same thing. Very handy.

i'll toss my vote in for the same.

Agreed the last viewed way of testing newness is much better.

I concur, it would make browsing this forum a lot easier.

Let me check the admincp - I thought that was the default for vb 3.5 but maybe I was wrong.

Megamieuwsel

Any word about it?
Still the same...

Ok, found the switch for it.  Didn't realize the default was off.  It will take a day or two for this to become active.

Cyberzombie

Thanks for the change!

*Me approves greatly!*
