I'm sick of the rpg community and want nothing more to do with it.
They're nothing but racists and trolls. I mean, you ask for help on anything, a computer game, design, anything, all you get is relentless harrassment. I mean, I've been trying to get help on nwn for a week now, all I've gotten, literally, is trolls harrassing me for not being able to figure it out on my own. Of course, GoG has no report function, or mute function, so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that the site's nothing but trolls.
I'm also banned from rpgnet (for calling a mod stupid after he banned me, for being the victim of a troll) and giant in the playground (for 'seeking legal advice' on the forums, which I didn't even do).
So yeah, fuck all this. Just ban me from this too so I can never come back.

Blackheart? Maybe you've confused this site with a computer RPG game site.
This site is primarily focused on traditional tabletop pen and paper RPGs. If you ask for help with those games, you will get plenty of help.
We do have an Other Games forum where people chat up about video games. Perhaps you can get NWN help by posting there?
Blackheart, I've been following your Design thread. I think you are reading too much into what is said and taking it way too personally. Nobody was hating on your system and you were getting actual feedback and suggestions with reference to other games people have played. Feedback almost always references other games, because if people haven't played your game, it is the only way they have any way of understanding how it might work in reality. Just because people disagree with you doesn't make them racist or trolls.
I'm not sure what GoG's (Good Ole Games?) website has to do with here either--check Spinachcat's post about possible confusions.

On Myspace long ago, World of Warcraft had a white supremist with a 'white power' logo as his avatar as one of their top friends.
Players hate the idea of including non-white humans in the game.
The game focuses on killing entire races of beings who are stereotypically evil.
All the races except for white humans follow a strict stereotype.
I once mentioned racism on the GITP forums, they all hated the idea of not being able to determine a character's alignment by their appearance. They literally wanted to live in a world where you can just kill certain things of a certain appearance whenever you pleased. Hell, look at the thing with the drow. Everyone HATES the idea of a player playing a drow who's actually a decent person and doesn't follow this absurd stereotype that makes NO realistic sense at all. I mean, even if drow society really could maintain itself like that, you'd see millions upon millions of drow refugees fleeing to the surface!
One channel I found, that hosted some series called 'that's so racist', actually openly support real-world racism in one video I stumbled upon.
And those ppl over on GoG are just outright bigots and sociopaths. And btw, as for my game? The game crashed in the middle of a save, and deleted my save file, and this time my external harddrive did NOT have a back-up of it. A NWN save is made up of multiple files, and it had the files from different saves, but not all the ones you needed for one, thus my save was lost, permanently. So yeah, I won't be trying that game again any time soon. I got all the way to the end of chapter 1, almost defeated the final boss, without a single respawn, and then my game blows up in my face and I lose a week's worth of meticulous work finding every item and doing every quest.
I've literally never met a roleplayer who was a decent person. And that includes ppl who have fucked me over in real life. I want nothing more to do with this bullshit community. Its nothing but bigotry and sadism.

There are some prize plums here to be sure, but i'm afraid that this is a lightly moderated board. All you've done so far is complain about other boards while wanting to be banned from this one. I don't get it. If i don't like somewhere, i don't go there.

Because no matter how much I'm mistreated, I'll be tempted to come back. Even now, I want help with designing a superhero rpg, but I know I won't be able to get any help at all, anywhere. And there's a limited number of games that I can draw inspiration from.
I want to be gone forever. And I'll always be tempted to return here as long as I can.
And obviously, you're the biggest trolls I've ever met. This is the first time I've ever requested a ban and actually had it denied. Wtf.

There are dozens of superhero RPGs from the past and present. We recently had a huge thread discussing the problems with supers RPGs.
Silverlion, the author of Hearts & Souls, posts here. He's always helpful. Hunt down a thread about H&S and PM him if you want help from a fellow supers author.

Shit happens. Games crash. It really sucks when you lose a game when you're deep into it. Fortunately, that happens far less today than 20 years ago.

I've been gaming for almost 4 decades and I've rarely met a RPGer who I wouldn't share a meal with. Not everybody has become a friend, but many, many have.
