We need someone who:

1. can commit to being on the site regularly (as in,
usually at least daily).

2. will learn and work the tech side of the system,
fixing any problems that need fixing. I cannot emphasize this enough: you must either already be able to program this type of site, or you must be able to learn quickly.

3. will help work with jrients in organizing which
hosting would be best for us to get into and how much
its going to cost, working out how to do it, and
organizing the fundraiser to pay for it (I would be
available for consultation on this issue at all times,
and have to give final approval to the question of
which service to go with and how to do the
fundraising).

4. You absolutely MUST be ideologically dedicated to the values of this site, in particular in regards to our policies about free speech and the lack of moderation.

Note that we are not really looking for an admin who will "patrol the boards" to make judgements about moderation issues anyways.  We are mainly looking for an admin who can fix the MANY MANY problems that are building up with the site and the software, and who will dedicate his time to this.

Surely there must be some of you who are willing to do this? Now is the time to step forward.

As I´m (not by choice) programming day in and day out, I might as well do it.
I also have a board of my own, so I´m pretty confident I can handle it.

I can live with just being a Tech-Help-Admin, I don´t need no "This machine etc."

I stepped forward the last time you folks wanted a tech admin type, and I'm willing to step forward again.

I don't know if I know enough to be any help, but I'm willing to step forward and try to learn.  Anything to help really.

At this moment, I'd like you all to say hello to our newest and latest tech admin, Brett from pigames.net (using the latter as his moniker). He's come well recommended from the rest of the admin staff, so we're going to give him a try.

I would like at least one more tech-Admin though, so please keep posting to this list.  I'm going to be off doing the Vancouver wing of my "Currently Smoking: Canada" tour, so that's going to give some time for people to post here, explain why they should be picked, fight in caged deathmatches, and later the swimsuit competition. The winner will be chosen after I get back from Vancouver.

EarthAD2, Two-Fisted Tales Revised, the Iron Gauntlets Companion, and Disposable Heroes: Rune Stryders are all in the final stages of completion, the latter 3 being delayed due to the usual day to day problems. And there are two print products waiting for my printshop to catch up. Then there is a small supplementary bestiary for Iron Gauntlets and hopefully time to finish Story Engine 3E, some EarthAD2 supplements, and The Colonies 2.0.
