This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Nuts are lined up in forums

They are still skattered in drupal - I want folks to give the layouts a comparison before switching both over.

I've also done a setting switch which might aid Opera - need to know if it works.

I like the scattered nuts, but you already know my opinion on that.

Sojourner Judas

The lined-up nuts are kind of weird looking, because the text doesn't line up when the nuts are positioned level.

Nuts are still not showing on front page/new stuff in Opera.  Also my suggestion would be to spread them out a bit and slif them over to the right.

Same here.

I liked teh scattered look, except that I can't see them in Opera that way.  Lined up, I can see them all in Opera.

Not on the front page.  Try clicking on New Stuff tab.

They aren't lined up yet on the front page.  Pooka said he has them lined up on the forums, but still scattered in Drupal.  I can see all teh nuts with Opera when they are lined up.

Same here.
But I wonder if it was the lining-up that was causing the trouble ; The "scattered" nuts look like they "hide" behind the top-banner.
Maybe that was the sole problem and would it still be possible to have the "scattered" look.
Scattered DOES look better....

To each his own, but I disagree. it makes me want to link directly to the forums and skip the front page.

I'm all for whimsy when it comes to buttons and styles but if it gets in my way then I lose my sense of humor. I'm one of those impatient web surfers who, if your site makes me play the "find the links" game or forces me to sit through a Flash intro, gets back on his board and catches a different wave.

So no I don't like the scattered nuts either. I say keep them in line and right-justify those acorns. 'Cause the Right is always justified at keeping nuts in line. ;)
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what\'s on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide.

NOOOOOO... LET THE NUTS BE FREE!!!

:p

I think I'll go with that - I can do it without using relative positioning, which is what is giving Opera fits it seems.
