Bullitt will be home in an hour and he'll be able to get NTL back up once he contacts the right person to go turn the switch back on. This morning we lost power to our house so I bet the server did too.

I just don't have the contact list. I guess I better get it so if this happens again, I can take care of the situation right away.

Yes. But today I had to restore a few MySQL databases so that took a while.

And I usually spend my working hours on NTL :)

You can talk all you want about theory, craft, or whatever. But in the end, it's still just new ways of looking at people playing make-believe and having a good time with their friends. Intellectualize or analyze all you want, but we've been playing the same game since we were 2 years old. We just have shinier books, spend more money, and use bigger words now.

I just got home and found out about the problem. I'm not sure what's up right now, but I know that no one was in the office when it went down.

The machine has been going for months without a reboot, so it's entirely possible that the OS finally crashed. In fact that's my guess. The alternative is that something happened with the hardware, but we won't even ponder that possibility because I'm lacking in funds to get it fixed at the moment.

Hopefully we'll have things back up soon.
