This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Moderation Approval for Post

Yesterday, I posted in this thread and received a message stating that the post required Moderation approval before showing up in thread.  Could I please have that post approved and posted to the thread? :)

Moar evidence this place is turning into TBP Lite.

Don\'t forget rule no. 2, noobs. Seriously, just don\'t post there. Those guys are nuts.

Speak your mind here without fear! They\'ll just lock the thread anyway.

Drohem

Um, no.  I posted on the day that it was clearly posted that there might some issues due to scheduled maintenance.

I posted in the PbP section and got message that the post needs Mod approval. Could I please get it approved?  It was a combat move for an IC thread. :)

You're a problem child, Drohem.

;)
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Damn it!  I guess you're right.

Just posted a CLW spell to heal a fallen comrade and now this post requires Mod approval too.  WTF? LOL. :)

I think it might be to do with the links in your posts coupled to what you're posting from. Your phone?

Anyway, i'll do this one as well, but if you can try to eliminate posting from unusual places (you might not be, of course, but the forum software tends to blocks posts from IPs it finds suspicious) i'd appreciate it.

Well I recently got an iPhone and am using more lately.  My computer at home is on its last legs and I am not using it much anymore.

Anyway, I am not deliberately trying to difficult and am just trying to use the site as usual.  :)

Since we are using the honor system for dice rolls in the game I can stop the roll links at least.

I have posted twice to the PbP sub-forum recently and have gotten the moderator approval message again.  These posts were made from my laptop and not my iPhone.  I used a different for posting a link in the two of them.

May I please have one of the posts approved.

OK, this is freaking weird and annoying.  I made another post today and got the moderator approval message again.  I included a direct http:/ link in the post from the website //www.rolz.org.  I seem to get the moderator approval message whenever I include a link from this website.  I am posting from my laptop.

I am not really Internet nor computer savvy so I have no idea why this one particular website would cause //www.therpgsite.com to invoke the moderator approval auto message when including a link from the above website.

rolz.org is actually a pretty cool site for online dice rolling and I don't see any reason why it could not be utilized by members of this forum for PbP games here.

I am not trying to be a 'problem child' or cause any unnecessary drama but asking for a mod to approval for every post that includes a link from that website will get tedious for everyone involved.

Now, I know the easiest solution would be to say 'fuck it' and find another online dice rolling website to make rolls and link, but can we try to find out what the root issue is here so that this site can be used in links?

Drohem

What's even more strange is that another member seems to be able to post links from the same website without any issues.  See this post...

I think one of the issues was your dice roller. I relaxed the rules a bit for that site, so we'll see if that corrects it.
