The newness has worn off and the age wrinkles are showing - what should be changed around here?
No suggestions here, I"m content with the status quo.

Features being restricted by postcount made me lose interest in some other message boards I used to visit. Minitokyo (http://www.minitokyo.net/) for example.
well... there is a split between the d20 forums and the fantasy forums. however, the big elephant game is DND, which doesn't have a dedicated forum. It might be good to have a forum solely for DND stuff, so that d20 can be about d20 and fantasy can be about non-dnd fantasy.
or not. in general i think this is a great site so far.
I don't think we need 3 forums that are all basiclly the same. No need for a D&D, D20 and Fantasy forum. It split things up to much and makes it somewhat confusing.
The board is great I wouldn't change anything.
Seriously, I'm more or less set. I believe this is my first MB where some features are restricted by post count. I find myself actually anticipating having a sig or an avatar or being able to accord reputation unto others. It's sort of silly, but I almost think I'm appreciating it more this way. :p
Really, you guys are straight par for the course thus far. Keep on keepin' on.

we would like to point out that you should be capable of having a signature now. We hope you enjoy it :)

What the....so I do! Thank you, and I shall!
Well, I would like to have the forum header on every tab.
It's the thing with the links:
QuoteThe RPG Site

And also, gaming blogs have three different links for them. For example,
/taxonomy/term/46 (http://www.therpgsite.com/taxonomy/term/46), /node/82 (http://www.therpgsite.com/node/82), and forums/showthread.php?t=552 (http://www.therpgsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=552) ... Until the thing with the blog parser recognizing vB code is dealt, only the forum link is really interesting, as the node and taxonomy links are "uglicized" by unrecognized tags.
And if I had the slightiest idea about the reasonable feasibility of it, I'd suggest improving the alt-ID for PbP stuff. Like, in "thread tools", an option to always post in this thread as alt-ID X or Y... I know just enough about PHP to guess this killer feature would be a real pain to code, most probably, though.
that world peace thing, we need to get that working!!! other then that not much, im still adjusting to all the big changes and such, can be a little bit over a persons head, maybe a directions/info sticky...these are for this, you do this this way and these things go here and so on....

Like Kryyst said ; too much clutter.
I too wish there were a more elegant ordering of these forums , but it looks simply impossible to do without more useless clutter.
Maybe rolling D20 and "Fantasy" into a "D&D and related"-forum would help , but that's far from ideal as well....
I'm also not quite down with the whole features-by-level thing.
I approve of only seasoned posters giving out rep - that makes sense. Otherwise, I thought it was cute at first but now find it a little annoying.
Maybe I just want a big avatar again, though. ;)

Whoa--we can get bigger avatars?
Yes. I'm one of those who aren't really bothered by the features being restricted by level. It may encourage a bit of postwhoring early, though.
I have been very happy with this site, but I am happy with the changes made too. I think we have an established userbase that it mature enough no to need incentives to post. Plus we are already experienced with rep, so I don't see that as a problem. Although, if it were me, I would not have a rep system at all.
The only think I would like is to have the text format toolbar that appears over the message field (you know, ital, bold, bullets, etc) when posting a normal forum message appear when making updates to story hour books for easier formating. If at all possible.
Thanks.

good point. however, trying too hard to please messageboard users - that way leads to madness! ;)
still, it's just as well to have everything turned on to keep people from whining. :) i was just as well with having to earn all the stuff. i personally would have left private messaging on at all times though, because sometimes you have to talk to someone about things that you don't want joe average to see.
avatars, rep, signatures, custom titles... hey, come on, you're not paying to be on this site, you're at the whim of the admins. that you can post at all is a sign of their kindness. ;)

I'm looking into that, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be.
I did notice something with the reviews section. The Reviews tab is working correctly, but if you click on the side bar Reviews link you get two events that pop up with the reviews.
