SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

How come I can't just ignore people without making a fuss?

For some reason, the forum technology won't allow me to ignore people without putting them on my Ignore List. Also, it makes me post about it. Could the mods do something about this please? It's very inconvenient to have to put people on my Ignore List and start threads about it. I blame RPG.net, personally.

I have no idea what you're going on about. How else are you going to ignore someone if they are not on your ignore list? And why do you have to start a thread about it?

He's being a whiny little bitch because I asked a legitimate technical question.  If the board would have worked right - that is if I could put the name in the Ignore list and it would take it and add it, this wouldn't have been an issue.

I don't know what the fuck he's on about.  I didn't get into why or what or any of that shit.  I put the name in because I have others on the Ignore list and it worked for them. So why wouldn't it work for this person?

And if he wants to hide behind the "you could ignore him without putting him on your ignore list" - then I would ask that he remove himself to a board without Ignore lists. Then he wouldn't be exposed to this horrible situation. It's a function the board offers and the question exists because it's not operating properly.

That's a legitimate technical question about a board function. If droog doesn't like that, or understand it, he can go fuck himself. Or, ya know, he could Ignore the fucking thread.

droog is just taking the piss. It's a great tradition Australia inherited from its mother country, Britain.

He must not be playing any rpgs, or be unable to talk about them. Sooper Sekrit Gaming!

And where has Mr. David R been hiding himself?  I've missed the creativity.  You should talk to droog or Kyle about learning the ability to be shat upon.  It's an Australian tradition from what I've heard.

No you're not...you're just being an ass.

I didn't see or read James naming the person he was putting on his ignore list.
As someone who is on his THIRD hard drive this year - I can sympathize with someone having technical difficulties.
