This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Cross-posting to other fora?

If I may inquire, what is the position hereabouts on quotes and links to threads and messages from this forum being posted on another forum?

I've been informed (and I've confirmed) that I am now being quoted on //www.odd74.proboards.com, with links to posts and threads on this forum as well. I am no longer a member of odd74, ironically for mentioning a K&K Alehouse posting in a message I posted on odd74; I have closed the account. I am not particularly pleased that I'm being quoted over there, as the folks there have closed registration and so I am not able to respond to the posts in which the quotes appear.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi, I have no idea what odd74's position might be, but here the only way that posting material someone else wrote on this forum to some other forum would be an actionable offense would be if it in some way constituted site disruption.  For example, if the goal was to start a forum-war, or if it was part of an ongoing stalking by the person doing the posting.

Ah! Thank you! I'm still learning all this Interwebz stuff, so your answer was very helpful!
