This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Of course there are also the hazards of the dark lord's stronghold as well.

Park Security
It is rumoured that these guys are all robots or clones or even aliens but whatever the case they are the top agents on the planet with the deepest pockets backing their work.  They seem to have no life beyond their work.  No existence in citizenship or tax records.  Every last one of them is a gold medal level athlete.  Every last one of them is totally dedicated to the cause.  Hope, no pray that you never become enough of a threat that they leave the park to get you.  And until then, whatever you do, keep off the grass.

Mascots
These cuddly characters lurk about the park and have photo opportunities with kids.  It's said that the eyes in the photos the park hands out, their eyes move and they transmit back to the subetheric com hub.  Now, there's a long history of violence against mascots.  People kick them and push them over for laughs.  Between that discordant behaviour and the sheer heat of wearing eighty pounds of fun fur on a scorching summer day in Florida, well, the engineers at the park got to thinking.  Every mascot is now a class four armored suit with built in air conditioning and a powerful sensor suite in the head.  The extra weight is compensated by servo motors that allow the suits to lift about five tons.  They've also got a specially designed sonic weapon that's ninety nine percent effective at causing the target to lose control of their bladder.

Princesses
At some point the line blurred.  Unable to load a pretty princess up with armor and weapons, engineering took another tack.  Dazzle lasers in tiaras, subtle sonic emotion  manipulation devices, make sure these specially selected agents can move through the park with impunity.  It is known that the princesses are recruited from among little girls who visit the park and are invited to attend special tea parties.  The aspirants are selected from national education databases and free trips to the park are arranged for their families through contests or charities.  What happens to the princesses is unknown but they are feared, even by park security.

I like those, and while reading them couldn't help think they'd be a great fit for Changeling: The Dreaming...

Actually the whole setting would be interesting viewed through the lens of C:tD: creatures of folklore or fairytale vs Disney and Megacorps in a Dystopian setting.

Ah but it's a utopian setting.  It's just someone else's utopia.

Hello and welcome to a vision of a brighter day.  Due to sharp management and long term planning, America is rising out of the shadows to become great in the world once more.  Gone are the old divisions an divergent views of yestreday, for today The United States of America is truely the home of the free and the land of the brave.  In every field from industry to the arts America is booming.  For a time we had to withdraw from the world and bring the troops home.  We had to put our own house in order before we could lead.  We had to feed and clothe and teach our own children and raise up a new generation with strong convictions and stronger moral fiber.  We had to cut out the rot and disent and disenfranchisement of the past.  There is a place for everyone in America now.  New doctors and engineers and scientists are graduating across this great land, the first fruits of a hard generation of reduced imigration and increased fertility.  Their mothers couldn't be better rewarded for the sacrifices they have made.  Urban blight is on the way out as carefully spaced suburban centers dot the land scape.  Children play outside on the green grass and in the golden sunlight without fear.  True, there are still those who fight against the movement that brought back America's can-do spirit.  But what of that?  They cannot argue with the reality of a rich and prosperous nation, a healthy and thriving natural environment, busy factories, happy children, loving mothers.  Let them rail against sound policies, for they are free to speak their minds and free to cling to outdated beliefs and ideas.  The future has arrived and America is strong but all is not well.  Our allies lacked the moral foritude to make a difficult stand and one by one they have fallen to cultural decay until America now stands alone in a sea of jealous and hostile states who have, in the past, gobbled up our resources while killing our boys for trying to help them in their hour of need.  The world needs America now more than ever, to bring peace and prosperity back to the lands of Great Britan and Israel.  To liberate Europe from German Hegemony once more.  For more than twenty years we have worked to make America strong.  But we do not live in a vacuum and the time has come for the stars and stripes to wave over distant lands once more bringing hope for a brighter tommorow.  We hope you enjoy your stay at the park, please stay on the marked pathways and off of the grass.
