This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

In a game where you play immortal heroes (think Perseus and Achilles), what does the derived statistic 'Spark' suggest to you?

I decided to use that word but don't know if A) It sounds right or B) It suggests what i think it does.

Girl Genius and Narbonic use Spark to describe someone who has genius beyond normal comprehension.

It could also mean a touch of godliness.

KrakaJak

It immediately brings to mind "inspiration" for me.

Inspiration/genius ability, with life force/essence just behind.
For fuck\'s sake, these are games, people.

And no one gives a fuck about your ignore list.

Makes me think of Girl Genius.  And therefore, makes me think of magical and inventive capacity.

This is it for me.

"Spark" = Motivation, initiation, inspiration.  The key step that elevates potential to manifestation.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking "spark of life" equating to hit points or health or whatever in a slightly more mythic sense than simply listing health, hit points or whatever.
