This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Should have the Secret of Demon Moon Cult tomorrow. It is actually interesting because they two parties in each campaign went to the same location, but because each group is in a different dimension it is going to be quite different.

Hi Brendan,

I just wanted to thank and mention that your write ups of the two campaigns are making my watching of old Shaw Brothers films on El Rey a lot more entertaining. Thanks!

Thanks I appreciate that. Wish we got El Rey as their Facebook updates look awesome (I literally have a mound of physical DVDs and bluerays because I mostly have had to buy the movies over the years--it innocently began with a couple of old Jackie Chan movies ages ago and spiraled out of control at some point).

One of my campaigns may be getting into Journey to the West power levels soon. So you might see a substantial difference in what they are able to do (we deal with profound and immortal levels briefly in the core rule book but my aim is to put out a second book dealing with those higher levels in more detail, so I'll be developing that as we play over the course of a year--which is how long it should take a regular group to reach profound master level).

I look forward to seeing what the PCs get up to next.
