This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

People mention this game, an indie product, a lot. I however have never yet understood what it's about. Anyone know?
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

Saphim

It is a neat little pulp fantasy game with a robust rules set that allows players to choose which kinds of actions their pc gets xp for.

What do you do?
Its not all that complicated, its a total sword and sorcery game. You can play it hack and slash or political intrigue or whatever it is about sword and sorcery that you love.

As everyone has stated, it's a sword and sorcery game, ala the pulps fromt he 30s to the early 60s. It's a fun little game with good mechanics, but it uses fudge dice.

I've run it, and played it many times.  It's an excellent game for what it does.

I'll confess that I totally conflate this game with The Riddle of Steel all the time, even though I've seen both and they bear little, if any, resemblance to one another.
