This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Total noob to layouts, especially art. Want to help?

I've always been more interested in the mechanics of a game than the presentation. However, I want to start putting out some one-page and micros (totally free/creative commons/whatever) and I'd like them to look halfway decent. I was hoping to reddit my wait into finding an artist/layout-type person who wants to partner up on some things. Like I said, I'm doing this for free so it would all be for the love of the game, so to speak. However, if anyone is interested, or can point me in the direction of someone that is interested, that would be awesome.

What I'm working on now:

1) A L&F Lovecraftian hack. There are a couple of mechanical elements added that would affect character sheet design, but it's all still really simple. The total document should be 3-5 pages. Most of the content is complete at this point. When that's finished:

2) A micro based on Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. I'm hoping to keep it to 10-15 pages, tops.

3) not sure yet, I'd like to do another one-page/micro hack, but I haven't settled on anything.

Any takers?
